What our leaders say

Testimonies

"Haitian Christian Ministry is a community of people with similar cultural backgrounds, faith, and a true desire to serve God. For 20 plus years, we have been lead by Pastor Abner Lamy with a support team consisting of community leaders such as Pastor Willy Chavanne, Marie Raymond and Dieuve Limit. The congregation is filled with devote believers in Christ with some members being there from the church's inception. Starting as a church with a few families as its members, we have grown as a ministry that not only has touched others nationally but around the world in countries such as Canada, Rwanda, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and our beloved country, Haiti. From the beginning to this very date, our growth has been a blessing.

These years have not come without their fair share of challenges and loss. Each setback has been an opportunity for us to showcase our resilience, to remind ourselves that our shared purpose is greater than any obstacle that may stand in our path. Just as a diamond is formed under immense pressure, our character as a congregation has been shaped by the challenges we have embraced and overcome. We praise God for all of it.

We carry with us the stories of our struggles, our victories, and stories that speak of the countless moments when we refused to yield to despair. Our church's growth is not just about numbers or physical expansion; it's about the collective spirit of unwavering hope that propels us forward. As we reflect on our 20 plus year journey, we remember that serving God has always been our main objective and will continue to be until we meet with him face to face."

The Haitian Christian Ministry. As a dedicated group of individuals sharing similar cultural backgrounds, faith, and a true desire to serve God, we have been working tirelessly to make a positive impact in the communities we serve.

For over six years now, I have had the privilege of being a part of this incredible ministry. During my time here, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of faith and the unity that binds us together. It is not just about the physical growth or expansion of our church; rather, it is the collective spirit of unwavering hope that propels us forward.

Within our community, our victories, and the countless moments when we refused to yield to despair. These narratives have become a source of inspiration and strength for us all, serving as constant reminders of the faithfulness and goodness of God. Through our shared experiences, we have fostered an environment of support, love, and encouragement for one another.

One of the core principles that guide us is our commitment to serving the Lord by serving others. We believe in the importance of reaching out to those in need, both within our community and beyond. Through various initiatives and projects, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who face adversity.
